Plant tissue analysis (sampling, sample preparation, tissue nutrition determination, and results interpretation) provides a picture of the nutritional status of field crops. Combined with a soil testing program, the farmer can build a 360° view of his fields and crops to make better agricultural management decisions that could drive higher yields, reduce input costs, and decrease environmental contamination throughout the growing season.
This Workshop on Plant Tissue Analysis: Sampling, Sample preparation, Testing Methods, QA/QC, Data Interpretation, and Application is conducting from Feb. 7, 2021, to Feb. 10, 2021, in the Rice Research Institute of Iran (RRII), Rasht, Iran. It attends by soil and plant scientists, researchers, and laboratories staffs of RRII. The workshop speaker is Dr. Shahram Mahmoud Soltani, assistant professor (soil chemistry and plant nutrition) of the soil and water department of RRII.
